No idea where to post this.

We have an Alzheimer's Unit that is a part of the ALF where I live. I wish we had more like this here. At one time we did have a former Rockette and she could do those high kicks when her therapist could get her going.

It is great when these former artists awaken time to time. We don't get to see much of it since they are in a separate unit.
 
My son was painting at a retirement village when he recognised one of the patients who is now in an Alzheimer ward. He went up to her and started humming "La Vie En Rose" and she started singing it in French. She used to be on stage many years ago, he recorded her singing and sent me the film, I cried when I saw it. I think she has now passed on because he never got a chance to visit her again.
