Without trousers in subway trains? According to the article of the BBC this day was launched in January 2002 with just seven people in New York. Meanwhile it has spread across the world (except Islamic countries and Russia I presume) with dozens of people taking part. Now it was in London again.

They showed it on the news last night. The look on one young lady's face when these people walked on the subway car was beyond a WTF is going on moment ... she had pants on by the way.

You really couldn't get some of those images out of your head with some of the people they showed .

I've seen the naked bike ride in Seattle (no, I didn't participate but a relation did.) Frankly, I would worry about permanent damage....

I used to live fairly close to a huge stream that had a 10-mile section called Notrou River. This section had 2 big rapids and 1 smaller one, and ended at 3 hot spring pools called Notrou Spa.

It was really popular with tubers, kayakers, and canoers who would finish the 10-miles and then kick-back in the pools with their beer and wine.

Most visitors pronounced it Not True River, but locals knew that Notrou was short for no trousers...they're the ones who named it, and put up a couple signs that said, "Notrou River; enjoy at your own risk."

In the late '80s, the state adopted that part of the stream to provide forestry and municipal services, and turn it into a low-key recreational area.

The name was changed from Notrou River to No Trough River, and it's been changed at least twice since then.

Holly, this woman could be called slender in comparison to one of my fellow students at university. I proposed to her. As a non-smoker I'd have even accepted her smoking. But she refused.
