Morley Safer famed 60 Minutes Reporter dies a week after retiring. He was 84 and apparently in poor health when he announced his retirement. He was one of few remaining reporters where the word class could easily be attached. Extraordinary career and a style that no one will forget and can always appreciate.

Always a amazing journalist. Sunday evening, May 15th, 60 Minutes broadcasted a beautiful tribute to him. Hopefully he was not to ill to have viewed it. Was able to know how admired and appreciated he was.

Andy Rooney died a few weeks after retiring from 60 Minutes.
