Norway Town Finally Gets to See Sunlight With the Help of Large Mirrors

I can't imagine living in a town with no sunlight. I get antsy after a week of overcast. One of life's great joys is relaxing in the winter sunshine.
I can understand the excitement of the people there, I just don't understand why they'd live there!

I can't stand to be without sunlight long, either. These long rainy days of Fall do tend to get me down, and I can't imagine living there.

Why are those two women wearing CD's on their chests?

Anyway, it's nice that the town got some sunlight, but it's also kind of weird that it's confined to such a small area.

Those people would be quite welcome to have some of our summer sun, although I must admit it wouldn't be very nice living in such cold conditions.

I noticed that the sun only shines on a small portion of ground. I couldn't think of living anywhere where the sun doesn't shine all year round

Maybe those discs are just temporary sun reflectors for tanning their faces, until the hand-held foil ones arrive at their local department store.
