Not Even A Little Cat Nip, Man Dies After Cat Bite.

Poor soul, but you see how it could happen. Some cats especially the feral ones can be vicious. I remember one night walking with Sophie and a cat jumped out of the shadows. I got between them and this monster feline slashes my leg and bites my ankle. I saved your life you stupid beast, thanks a lot.
 
I once watched a thing on some doctor show and a woman, whose cat had fallen off a balcony and had impaled itself on an iron fence pole, had gotten severe scratches and bites on her hands as she freed it, and by that evening, she was in intensive care and surgery as they tried to save either one or both hands! Cat bites/scratches are a serious injury. I'm always very careful when I play with our cat for that reason. Fortunately, he's a gentle soul but every so often, he does get that look in his eye you know and then I go wash dishes:rolleyes:.
 
A cat who's allowed to wander around outside is expensive send to all kinds of things. I don't understand having a cat, and letting it outside like a wild animal. It's like having a dog who lives outside 24/7. Why have a pet?
