Spent Memorial Day and great granddaughters birthday with family. BBQ with all the normal goodies plus peppers and sausage. Ate way too many of those but indigestion wasn’t too bad.
The pool was open but ice cold but didn’t stop BD girl and her friends from swimming. Everyone seemed to have a good time…I know I did. Couple of pics I took.

Friday morning and 57 degrees right now and sun is shining through some puffy clouds. If the weather holds, my kids, I still call them kids, are coming to pull some weeds and plant our pretty pansies where the

weeds are now. Do pansies come up every year or do I have to replant them?

Someone new moved in the building we are in. Haven’t heard which floor they are on. We have met a few friendly neighbors since we have been sitting outside in our new patio furniture. Most folks will stop and introduce themselves but a few just stick their nose in the air and walk right on by. That’s okay though because many folks have a lot on their minds and are lost in their thoughts.

Have a Good Friday and live life to the fullest. We only get one chance at this life.

Had a fun day yesterday. Daughter called and ask if we would like to check out our casino down here. It was about a 40 minute drive but we got to go in her comfortable Cadillac. Left with $66 in my account for next time. Good time for all of us.

Then stopped at Dennys for a nice dinner and then came home. Today. I had to go to Staples to return a package to Amazon and then CVS for some things Thelma needed. All around good day cause I didn’t get lost.
 
Took Thelma for her first new doctors visit at our new home. Heavy accent but very knowledgeable and knows what she’s doing. Spent some time checking out her heart and an EKG at the facility. Monday she goes back for blood work and will wear a heart a monitor for 48 hours. I filled in the questions she couldn’t remember and made doctor aware of her dementia.

Before we went there, we celebrated my daughter’s birthday at a restaurant. Don’t know what it’s called but it’s Japanese food and chef cooks the food right in front of us. I had scallops, shrimp, noodles and white rice. It was delicious but I definitely ate way too much much and there’s some left over in the frig. Busy day yesterday so will take it easy today and walk off some of yesterday’s dinner.
