Yesterday, Sunday, we went over to Newburgh, NY to a casino to spent some time. Wish they had a drive thru so I could hand them the money and go home. Tight machines and lousy payouts. Went with daughter and SIL.
Stopped at Dennys for dinner and I had my usual order of eggs, sausage, home fries and toast.
Today, I have to find out what happened to my large Amazon order. It showed delivered but the picture is on the third floor and not my place. Between that and trying to set up my wife’s doctors portal I’m getting a wee upset with people who can’t do their job correctly.

A friend has been complaining about tight machines and lousy payouts near him in North and South Carolina.
I wonder if it’s a sign of tough times, inflation, rising prices, less money for recreation, etc…

People here have been posting on FB showing their delivery pictures that were not delivered to their homes. A lot of them! Walmart deliveries also. Not sure what the problem is. Luckily (knock on wood) I have never had a problem.

This is on the 3rd floor. We are E3 and it would have been in a box. It is confusing to a new driver but if they can read there should not be a problem. First time it’s happened here.

The missing order came last night. I can’t understand why they sent me the photo of the third floor.
Anyway, all is well and I got my order.
Need to call spectrum today and find out why my tv bill went up to $249. I only have WiFi and basic programming. Thinking I might drop everything and just keep WiFi and stream everything else.
Our dishwasher decided it is time to leak on the floor while washing. Must call maintenance and report this.
It’s supposed to go up to 83 today and if it does, I’ll be sitting out on the patio later.

Make a Walmart run and buy the cheapest antenna they have, around $10.00, do a scan and see what channels you pick up.
I still use the AirTV with my Samsung smart tv to pick up the local news and a few favorite channels.
If you try it and it has some value then you can always upgrade to a better antenna.

I had nice antenna I used in Florida and left it there by mistake. Good idea. Our local channels are out of New York City so don’t think I’ll get much but it’s worth a try.

Good morning everyone. Another day reaching into the 80s. Showers forecast. Yesterday, I sat outside most of the afternoon as it was in the 80s too. Much cooler weather coming up next week. Anyway, we enjoy it while we can.
Will, our maintenance man came and checked out our dishwasher yesterday. Pulled it out from under counter and ran a cycle, no leak. He rechalked where the counter meets the back as it was cracked and he thinks the water was leaking there. Ran it last night and no wet floor.

A bit of trivia you need to know, although I don’t know why. In the last 15 minutes of David Muir news cast there was 19 commercials. Doesn’t leave a lot of time for news, does it? I really need to get a life that’s more interesting. 
Took a little ride in my Red Robin, my bright red Kia soul, and got a couple DD coffees.Then on to Stewart’s shop to buy 2 gallons of their delicious ice cream. One coffee flavor and one vanilla. Had a dish of vanilla topped off with pancake syrup. At my age I don’t worry much about what I eat.
Monday I have a pulmonary appointment at my local VA. Need to review my meds and get some refills. Today’s forecast calls for high of 72 and then we get a week of colder weather.

Talking about English, I tried for two days to set up my wife’s medical portal. I had to keep trying until I finally got someone I could understand and we got it done.

Good morning to all of you. Sun is shining but it’s only 33 degrees out. Another day or two of cold weather and hopefully it will start to warm up again.
Pulmonary visit at VA today at 2pm. Need to find something to get rid of excess mucus. Breathing is getting very difficult lately and limited of things I can do. TV and iPad keep me busy most days. Lighting up that first cigarette over 70 years ago was the worst thing I could have done.
On a lighter note, my daughter is going with me to my appointment. She is a nurse and our caretaker and understands a lot of what doctor says that I miss.

Was reminiscing yesterday about our younger days. Times we would love to go sqare dancing, have a few Buds and were always raising hell with our loud cars.

Mine too. I can be on my computer for hours straight without getting up. Have been trying to change that. Going out and having a good time though does not sound as enticing as it was when I was younger. Different age different activities.

Today, I pick up my groceries at Shop Rite. Sometime between 2 and 2:30. It is suppose to be nice out today reaching 70 degrees. We’ll see as NY weather has a habit of changing real fast.
Was going through some Florida pictures today and ran across this photo of the gang having breakfast at Florida Tech. A couple have passed on now. I think this was the last time we got together before moving back to NY. I miss them all. Note: I’m sitting with the ladies if you notice. Got my priorities in line.

Busy day. Picked up groceries at 2 pm then on to ATM for some house cash. Next stop was Dunkin for wife’s coffee. Then stopped at our scratch off place, spent $100, won $150. On to Stewart’s for some donuts and cherry vanilla ice cream. My daughter was waiting for us and stayed and shot the stuff for an hour. Good day but I’m pooped tonight.

Another sunny and fairly warm day. Going to move some furniture around to see if it looks okay. Very limited space here and things are getting crowded and piled up.
No plans today other than the furniture thing. Got everything done yesterday.
Finally finished watching 279 episodes of Heartland on tv. After watching the people growing up and following so long, we began to feel like we knew them personally. Last night we watched Grace Point. Weird ending.

Didn’t get the furniture moved yesterday as my back decided it was time to quit doing things. Maybe today. Did change filter in our air cleaner, cleaned out our closet where we keep things that really don’t belong anywhere else.
Still having cool nights. 43 degrees right now. Each day the air is feeling warmer. 25 years in Florida really spoiled us. Thelma was sick last night so by the time I helped her take a shower it was getting close to bedtime. She slept good so hopefully she is okay to day..
