At least in some states, as sharks and flesh-eating bacteria may greet you. I am sticking to a cool soak in the tub, and I will take my iPad with me, hope I don't drop it...

Ralphy ......I won't be going on the water, its about 10c here I'm sitting near our slow combustion wood heater ,with a blanket over my knees it was another cold day,we are looking forward to going to Queensland in four weeks time to escape South Aus winter for a month ..

Well, keep an eye out for snakes as your heater may attract them...

Hmm, maybe "Jaws" should be shown as a public service. It was a great summer movie when it came out and could be relevant today...

I live 4 miles from the Atlantic on
the Florida coast,Don't swim there anymore because of what I see being washed ashore. Cruise ships don't care what they dump overboard nowadays .IMO
I switch to community swimming pool for a while till I saw this
"64% of Americans admit to relieving themselves in the pool."
Now I swim in an adults only private swimming pool that is treated and checked every 3 hours. Cost $30/month.
