Now I've Heard Everything

Actually, growing up, two retired old maid school teachers would invite me to their cat's birthdays. Both cats were huge and had high chairs, that they sat in to eat. They had party hats and candy treat bags that I got to bring home. A lighted birthday cake and we three sang Happy Birthday. As a child I was accepting of this quirky old ladies and did not find them out of the ordinary. So I did not take in any details.

This is Piaf [ named after chanteuse Edith Piaf, the "little sparrow" ]. Piaf is a Tortie and is now 11 years old.



And this is Choca, a Chocolate Siamese, who died [ of old age and kidney disease ] at age 24 [ yes, 24! ] in 2010. Choca was a polydactyle and had 26 toes. :)

I'm having a great deal of trouble with this post. I tried to make the pics smaller, but to no avail.
 
Wow, Rocky, cool pics of your wonderful cats. Twenty-six is amazing! How many toes did Choca have? I love Edith Piaf. Je ne regrette rien...
