Now That You are Older

There are many many days in my life I wished had never happened, and those days started at a very young age. And sure, all the drama and tragedy and angst formed me into the man I am today, which modesty aside, I turned out way better than anyone would have predicted.

But no way in hell would I want a do over. No one gets thru life unscathed, maybe I could fix the worst day or days from my past, but my next go could be even worse in other ways. I feel incredibly fortunate I was able to correct my life path, I wouldn't be willing to take a second chance.

After my mother died, I found this poem in her belongings. Absolutely slayed me.
