Now What Was I Gonna Do? Awww, forget it!

Memory loss seems to be part of the equation as we get older...especially short term memory. I keep a pen and notepad at 3 or 4 locations in the house/garage/workshop, and jot down things I need to do as I think of them. Otherwise, I am likely to get involved with something else, and forget about what I was thinking. That way, I can keep a running list of things that need to be fixed, etc., and prioritize them as to urgency, etc., and always try to keep a couple of minor indoor "to do's" on the list to occupy some time when the weather is bad.

It's just that by the time we get to be our age, we have so much more information and so many more experiences to keep track of than we did when we were just starting out. It isn't that we don't remember, it's just that we can't access it as fast. It's like a computer, we don't need more memory, we need more RAM! (Random Access Memory)

What a great video:D:D:D I keep pen and paper within reach at all times...but like the coffee cup, my pens grow little feet and can run off on their own.

A cat walks into a room and forgets why it is there, so it sits down and washes. Unfortunately My paws aren't clean enough for me to do that so I go sit down in another room and then remember . AAARRRGGGGG!

I also have note pads and pencils in several places.
I also use a timer any time I h ave something in the
oven or cooking on top of the stove.
Couldn't start my car the other day until I realized that
I was in drive not park!

I try to fight this problem and to improve my concentration I do SUDOKU puzzles. (Hardly ever manage to reach the highest level, but every little helps).:)

SUDOKU is addictive! I've spent hours with that game. There used to be a web version that I liked but I lost the link.

I used to spend hours on SUDOKU until I learnt a few logical tricks and now I do only one middle-difficulty puzzle, with the first coffee, for the good beginning of the day. I do paper version so as not to get computer-addicted.:) Unless I lose concentration, it usually takes me around 30 minutes.
