Tritium is the rarest of the three isotopes of hydrogen. It is radioactive with a half life of 12.32 ± 0.02 years.
It would occur as water (H20) and as such would be absorbed by living organisms in the ocean around Biscayne Bay.
If it's in the water, it is in the food chains too.
