Hi everyone I'm a newbie on this forum and enjoy reading your questions and answers to various situations.

I'm 67 and my husband is 73. We have lived in many places (MI, PA, SC, IL, CA, TX) because of his work but we're enjoying retirement. He retired in 2001 and I retired in 2008. We thought this would be our final place to live because we have family here but the winters are proving too difficult for us. We're thinking about going back to CA where our 3 "kids" live. We'll see. I have some questions about that and I'm hoping some of you can give me some "food-for-thought".
