Hmm, maybe Packer isn't as liberal as I thought. He also wrote a devastating article on NYC public schools:

I'm seeing a bit of a backlash generally as liberals and former liberals including Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, and Bill Maher take on some of the excesses of woke culture.

One comic manifestation yesterday as Ilhan Omar's daughter decided to decorate her Twitter profile with a hammer and sickle. Yay communism!

As to the original post about flags. Anybody can wave an American flag, and anything can be printed on a tee shirt. That only proves you can move your wrist, and somebody could read. I've seen too many people waving flags, and inferring that since I may not adhere to their particular political view, I'm not an American citizen.
