Oakland Arsonist Seems To Be Hitting Housing Construction Sites

50+ years ago, Oakland was a nice community...I had an Aunt/Uncle/Cousins who lived there, and visited them back in the 50's. Then, it started going downhill, and they moved out. Now, I wouldn't want to be in that town at high noon.
 

A few years ago I remember another construction site fire/arson on the west coast in Los Angeles. That site was going to be luxury apartments.

Then this spring I remember seeing a story about vandalism and fire in Philadelphia that was politically motivated. High end or luxury living seems to be one thing most of these sites have in common.

So a political statement is probably at the core of the arsonist/s motivations.
