This recipe comes from a cookbook I got years ago in Oregon (aptly named "Savor the Flavor of Oregon"). I believe it's out of print, but if you can find it, the book has some really fine recipes. Yesterday my wife made these delicious cookies. Very rich and chewy, loaded with milk chocolate. She used a small scoop for the batter and it formed perfect cookies.
