October, Fall, and Spooky Season are here!

When my kid was in high school, I made a plague doctors costume for her. Since they couldn't have a full face mask, it was only the beak from her nose down to the chin. We used face paint from the nose up.

A few years later she made a full mask out of leather, dyed it white & put in red lenses for the eyes so it looked like the traditional ones you see in historic pictures. I couldn't find the picture of hers, but it looks a lot like this. When she hasn't worn it at Halloween, I'll wear it handing out candy.

Some kids would walk up saying "That's not real" & then I'd move when they get close to get the candy. :sneaky:

I've never heard of these! The image is somehow familiar tho' I must have seen pictures.

For a few years when my kids were youngsters, we had this big above-ground pool. We had swim parties on Thanksgiving Day, that's how long summers can be in Cali. And their friends came to them!

I was probly keeping all those kids out of their moms' hair while they roasted their turkeys.
