Octomom's Mother???

As a 60 year old woman, I gotta say that while I love my grandkids, I'm sure glad for the peace when they leave.

But maybe this woman is one of those who absolutely loves being pregnant and enjoys the baby phase so much she just can't stop. Personally though, as we face a future with an additional 2 billion people on the planet, increasing job losses and robotization in industry, and the growing problems with climate, food production and water shortages, I have to say that I think the day and age of large families should have ended decades ago.

Ahh the joys of menopause (with the emphasis on the 'men' part I suppose:rolleyes:). I have to admit that I try to keep a spare hedge clipper behind the seat of my truck as well as in the drawer of my bathroom. Otherwise it gets completely out of hand! But between you and me, it does come in handy when I spy a table top that hasn't been dusted in weeks! Then it matches my grey hair.

I don't understand that lady at all. Doesn't she ever want a few minutes peace and quiet?? Is she a multimillionaire? It costs a lot to raise kids. And how could she possibly have the energy to be a good mom to a baby?

Insofar as money...I think that article said she had been married 5 times. That could translate into quite a bit of Alimony. Then, it appears that she has several older children, so I would imagine they do the bulk of the caring for their younger siblings. Reading her story kind of reminds me of the old "Ripleys Believe it or Not"...whereby that old series used to chronicle some of the silly things that people do.
