Oh boy...winter olympics!

I no longer watch the olympics , winter or summer, just about to lose interest in all sports, but I do like Pappy's new outfit. I say, lmy, my, I do like that.

Reunification ? Not a chance as long as Kim Jung Un is alive. This current bit of "diplomacy" is but a ploy to give Kim what he can not get any other way. Never a good idea to get in bed with a barbarian.
 

Ken, these are not to be lightly tossed off!

The first is the instrumentation required to calibrate the tracking rate of my Astronomical Telescope.

The second and third are electrostatic high voltage machines for demonstration purposes that I designed and built.

The second pictrure is a Van de Graaff machine that I designed for a potential of over one million volts. It's too powerful for indoor use!

The third picture is a hand-cranked Bonetti machine that generates nearly 300,000 volts of electrostatic energy.

High-Voltage physics is one of my hobbies.
