Marg, DON'T SMOKE!
I'm going to try and quit, Gaer.

I've been quietly looking to quit for quite some time now.

I have a sick friend, and as much as I hate to admit it, finding a reason, any reason, is sometimes what it takes to help coax things along, and that's me right now. I needed a push on this, and my sick friend is sadly my push.

I used find a lot of money checking these phones out. Had a boyfriend who was embarrassed everytime I did this when we were out.View attachment 154749

Oh, that so reminds me, back in my youth, I had a set of long feeler gauges that allowed me to make many a long distance call from those phones. :D Just slide the gauge down the proper coin slot til the dong sounded. (y)
Also, many a pay phone lost it's chrome info plate mounted on top. They made excellent license plate holders on your chopper. :ROFLMAO:

Thousands of years ago, the ancient Egyptians had a capital city. And you know the Egyptians did it up right- huge 40 foot stone statues of their Pharaohs, all over the place, acres of huge stone temples, etc. Well, the river next to the capital silted up. Their boats could no longer bring cargo, or people. So they moved the capital 20 miles away. They picked up everything- statues, temples, palaces, everything, and dragged them 20 miles away. It goes to show you stuff happens, and we can overcome anything.
