My looks don't bother me. But my thinker tells me all the things I should do today, and my body gives my thinker the finger.

My forearms only have to brush against something and I will have bruise marks. Chronic to the point that wearing a long sleeve shirt just to have fore arm protection.

Sometimes I’ll notice something. Today I was with friends and thought how they had crepey skin. Happened to glance at my own arm tonight. OMG, I have the same thing. It must be contagious.

Does reality of our getting a bit older take a bit of a bite out you?

I’m more concerned about how it compromises my functionality than my looks but it is pretty hard not notice.

My oldest son just turned 50 which means in a year I am 70.

My daughter is going gray, she will be 60 next September. Next February I will be 90, a right geezer.

Well my bite isn't what it used to be that's for sure.
Full (snap in) dentures will do that. 8 Implant posts help.
Total cost of $21k out of pocket took a bite though.

Only $21K? You got off cheap! (Just kidding.) I got 8 implants with my snap in dentures and it cost me $26K. I still have a year and a half left on the loan. The payments are over $500 a month. When it's paid off I don't know what I'll do with all that extra cash!

I call mine saggy, baggy, elephant skin.

Oh but GG the saggy bags eventually get wrinkles too though
you have a few years to go before that stage so take care of the crepey bits.

Of course your arms are active with all the lovely baking you do so you may never have the wrinkly experience.
