Oh, No, the First Wildfire of the Year's Here

Every year I think I can't take another year of it, sigh.

I used to love summer. Forest fires used to be rare; now they’re a given.

It was about 30 min. away. But it looks like they've got it contained now.

Often your fires make our news, but this one didn’t. We’re going to be in the 80s this week when normally we should be about 55. We only had one snowfall and I’m really worried about how hot it’s going to be and what that means for our fire season too.

Since we are next-door neighbor states, depending on which way the wind is blowing I know we get the smoke often from each other fires . I also know it’s worse by you than it is by me.

I think most of the trees are pine.

And now the second fire of the year is going about 40 min. away, sigh. No containment yet.

The first fire was in Bangor and the 2nd is a little north of Magalia.
