The 1970’s also saw the rise of All-Season Radial tires. Tiempo was a big brand. Prior to that, you had snow tires and regular road tires…

Orange and/or avocado.....yes.

My stove and refrigerator were avocado as was the washer and dryer. The kitchen floor was orange and avocado Moroccan tile.

The dining room curtains were orange flowered. The living room had avocado curtains. The couch and chairs were orange.

My daughter was a hippie baby with, of course, avocado and orange tie-dyed crib sheets. Her crib and dresser were painted avocado.

Sigh.

I'm ever so much more subdued these days.....
