A truckdriver owes his life to an amazing state Patrol officer who refused to allow him to die and worked like a trojan to bring him back from the brink of death....


I watched the video and listened to the desperation in the voice of the Patrol officer as he administered life saving resuscitation ,









Happy to report that the truck driver was taken to hospital and has since made a full recovery
 

That driver was a goner but this officer wouldn't quit. Ohio State should be very proud of this officer. This happens far more frequently than we hear about because a bad cop is a much bigger story!! Damn shame. Good for this hero cop.
 
I totally agree Jim,...the officer was definitely a hero , his adrenalin was pumping at 90 mph I think trying to keep the guy alive ...
 

Appreciation to this officer and all those good samaritans from all walks of life who go that extra mile to help accident victims like this. I'm glad the truck driver survived due to the officer's swift action, job well done.
 
There are probably dozens of incidents every day where a police officer saves someone's life. It's too bad that our national media cannot afford those actions the same priority it gives to a police officer involved in a "minority" incident.
 
That's a good point about the media's interest Don, but maybe we deserve some of the blame too. Seems like we're all too interested in the bad news stories and will rehash them repeatedly.
 
I agree Shirley, and thousands of good people for every bad person too....thankfully.
