This is nearly impossible for me to do but I will take a stab. My list will only include artists that became popular when I was old enough to buy albums. That leaves out The Beatles(although my sisters had all their albums and I listened to them) The Beach Boys and to some extent The Stones but here it goes in no particular order..

Such a hard one. I am a huge music fan. Still have a giant collection of CD's. Being a minimalist CD's and books are the only thing I hang on to. My list must include individual singers, but they do have bands ;)

+1! My picks for "country artists I can stand" include Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Terri Clark, Merle Haggard, Dwight Yoakam, Buck Owens. Willie Nelson,Marty Stuart...virtually all the C&W performers prior to the onslaught of the new country types, like Kid Rock. :rolleyes:
