I try to figure out what my opponent might do. A guy will probably do a rock, so I'll do paper. If it's a woman and she sews a lot, I figure she'll do scissors, so I'll do rock. Stuff like that.

Not out loud but I’ve always known that I was “special”

We didn't play it as a game but rather as a semi arbitrary way of deciding who would go first or who would be stuck with a chore.
I rarely 'decided' but went on instinct and came out ahead about 75-80% of time even tho much younger than my sisters.
