Old Spice After Shave Formula

My roommates in college wrote me a sexy letter from a girl they made up and mailed to me. I caught on in a hurry because it was supposed to be from a woman I had never met who had been fantasizing about me from afar. The letter was over the top and heavily perfumed. When my roommates fessed up, I asked them where they got the perfume and one of them said, "Oh, that was just some of Ed's Old Spice."

Perfume and colognes can smell different on different people depending on their body chemistry.
So I can see where some people cant wear it well.

My husband says when he was a kid his mother used to bake bread early in the morning before school started. His father was a school principal who wore old spice in the mornings . My husband says that every morning he’d taste the aftershave on the freshly baked bread.

Waxing nostalgic about my Grandpa and the smell of his Old Spice after shave, I picked some up for myself. The funny thing is however, that it doesn't smell like I remembered. Could they have changed the formula over the years, or could the memory in my sense of smell be failing? What do you think

Wasn't there a coligne/aftershave called Hai Karate? Supposedly, men had to use martial arts to fend the women off when using it...lol.

A funny story I read about Hai Karate. That TV ad was wildly successful and ONE Christmas, many men got a gift set, but it smelled so bad that they put it back in the box and regifted it as a joke for years later, like a hot potato.

My father always used Old Spice after shave lotion, but sometimes he got carried away with it and the whole house smelled of it.
