Boy, he was so lively....seemed

Rest in peace, Sir Lon
he'd had a lot of serious health issues.. by the time he died, he was struggling to get to the dining hall in his luxury nursing home. and was eating in his room.. also because of Covid he was missing the company of his buddies in the restaurant...I believe he was 86 when he died, might have been slightly older..

64 here, and also a Scorpio. My partner is 58 and thinks he's too young for SF. :ROFLMAO: He's on a TV forum, Facebook and Twitter. He is also a Scorpio.

I do think it's funny that only 3 of us mentioned our astrological signs and all are Scorpios. We tend to be intense, and sometimes it's not a badge of honor! I do know that Scorpios love to solve mysteries, which is why I always want to know what makes people tick and am addicted to True Crime shows.

Not to hijack the thread, but the height of Covid was awful in nursing homes. My mother only received meals in her room for over a year and I could only go to her window, wave at her and talk to her on my phone. Her oxygen level was really low one day, and they let me in wearing what could only be called Hazmat gear. By the time the Covid restrictions ended, she had taken a turn for the worse and could no longer go to the dining hall. I was just glad to spend time with her in person before she passed.

so sorry you had to spend the last few months of your mums life in such a distressing way.. god rest her soul...

here in the Uk there were more deaths from Covid in Nursing homes than anywhere else.. and equally people weren't permitted inside to visit their relatives not even wearing a Hazmat suit.. most had to stand outside on the other side of a window and converse where possible by text... that period of history will never be forgotten.. :(

Depends what parts of me you are asking about.

My driver's license says 74 but some other parts disagree with that. My knees are about 10 years older. My right hip says it's older'n Methuselah and my feet....well, they're pushing 90.

My mind thinks it's about 40, though, which inspires me to do things the rest of the body disagrees with. For instance, today that danged deranged brain pushed me to roll down a long grassy hill with the two little heathens who call me Meemaw. It seemed like a good idea at the time........ I have grass in my hair, my back hurts and I have a chigger bite. I think I took 5 years off my life expectancy, but it was so worth it.
