I also had a discussion with ai about table tennis. Speed and tactics keeps the playing field near 50/50 as the male players cannot get into those powerful looping strokes when an opponent nullifies it by short fast table work.

I actually play competition table tennis - admittedly at very amateur level.

In practice most of the higher level players are men - our club has had women occasionally at 2nd or 3rd level ( I am at 6th level) but never at first level.
