These are 2 labels applied to us humans, according to our
preferred type of diet, there are also carnivores, vegans
and herbivores, this applies mainly to animals though as
I have never known of a humans grazing on grass etc.
I just learned off another applied to humans, a "Pescatarian",
someone who eats seafood.
We live and learn, I had never, until yesterday, heard this.
Here is a description of the meaning from healthline.com
By that definition, a pescatarian is someone who chooses
to eat a vegetarian diet, but who also eats fish and other
seafood.
It's a largely plant-based diet of whole grains, nuts, legumes,
produce and healthy fats, with seafood playing a key role as
a main protein source. Many pescatarians also eat dairy and eggs.
Many of you will probably already know this, just not me.
Mike.
