Two injured, none killed.

I skimmed this thread but see no real evidence here - or on any credible news sites - that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has abdicated, fled or been unseated. He has final say over everything in Iran, including decisions made by Iran's president.

Wish it were otherwise, especially for Iranian women.

The U.S. and Israel should intervene. Only with their help this vicious terrorist regime will fall. Don't forget that Iran under the mullahs is one of the worst enemies of Israel. And Iran produces drones for Russia, which they use in the Ukraine. This regime must fall.

Found a photo and the truck did have political signs on it. It's seems ambiguous saying things like 'No Mullahs, No repeat of 1953, No Shah' and a sign in Arabic? Yet he drove into a crowd of pro freedom in Iran protesters.

The US ordered Americans to leave Iran asap, and advised them to use only their Iranian passports and to carry nothing American. The fear is that the IRGC will kill Americans in Iran on the spot, but the order could also be to get Americans out before US and ally military begin any sort of action.

Planning an intervention takes time, unfortunately. US & Israeli forces will want to minimize Iranian casualties, avoid getting shot down, coordinate perfectly, act smart and swift, and above all else, they don't want to trigger Khomeini allies to bomb Iran.

There's an app called flightradar 24 (I think) where you can watch real-time movement of all types of aircraft, including the region of and around Iran. Of course, US, British, & Israeli military craft will turn transponders off when directly above Iran, but I've see them tooling around nearby.

It's beyond disgust; it's pure evil. I have no doubt they have set this up to find the relatives and lock them up.
I just can't fathom the cruelty of the IRGC.

I pray the protesters stay their course; they have come way too far and have paid the ultimate price to give up now.

It appears that the Ayatollah may be hanging on, even if by a fine thread. None of us could possibly know what the U.S. may be planning in the background. Trump did make a statement that if Iranians were killed for demonstrating, the U.S. may step in to aid in their resistance. We knew nothing about what happened in Venezuela before it did, so it’s also likely that we may have a blind eye to what is being planned for Iran. If the U.S. would bomb the Ayatollah’s residence and Capitol in Tehran, they could concede or surrender to the people.

That’s going out on a limb, but I never try to outthink the President. If I had to venture more of a guess, I would think that the President doesn’t want to lose any American lives. It’s likely to happen if the U.S. attacks that Iran will fire missiles in an effort to take down aircraft.
We could fire missiles offshore to abate the idea of using aircraft. This is just a guess on my part.

I heard on the news last night that because the internet is so unpredictable in Iran, the Iranians haven’t been able to get the numbers out to the world of the numbers they believe to have been killed, but one report was that over 1000 Iranians have been injured or killed by the Iranian Army at this time.

I'm seeing news videos showing the people have "taken over" Tehran, but nothing was said of the Ayatolla's residence except that he isn't in it. It's surrounded by his army and no one's gotten inside, so I don't know how anyone would know that for certain. The US president, Israeli president, and Iran's exiled prince are communicating almost daily, and probably discussing tactics or at least sharing intel. The US pres said "something's gonna happen" today/Tuesday.

Ayatollah's military, the IRGC, said they plan a "preemptive" strike on Israel if Netanyahu doesn't shut up and take his boats home. Meanwhile, Putin told Xi that if China helps him take Ukraine, it'll free-up Russia to back up the IRGC, and Putin will make sure China gets some of Ukraine's rare earth, coal, iron ore, natural gas, titanium, and lithium.

So - the IRGC plans to eradicate Israel, Syria said they've got Israel's back, Russia has the Ayatollah's back if China helps destroy Ukraine, Iraq has the Ayatollah's back, Saudi Arabia has the US's back, and Britain is there for the US and the Iranian people.

And everyone is locked and loaded. That's a problem.

I think so. But people wouldn't be so easily manipulated if education focused on academics, and if philosophy, civics, and humanity classes used the words of philosophers and statesmen as examples of critical thinking, thinking outside the box, and coming to conclusions by weighing facts and rationalizing benefits to harm and positive outcomes to negative consequences, instead of "teaching" students which of those conclusions they should simply adopt and which they should reject outright.
 
I remember that when I was at university, we were told that we were there to be challenged, and that the whole idea of a university education was to help you learn how to think, not what to think.

I guess things have changed somewhat when I read of 'safe rooms' for students, where they can play with cuddly toys and/or puppies when they get stressed.
