On day 10 of the Iranian revolution, the Ayatollah has fled

Some crazy numerology (or whatever)….

Putin said his military would take over Ukraine within 72hrs / 3 days.
The US military eradicated the Extreme Islamist Regime within 72hrs / 3 days.
The war in Ukraine is now in its 3rd year.

America’s 47th president destroyed the regime during its 47th anniversary, on the 47th day of the Iranian people’s freedom protest, which is also the 11th day of the 9th month on the Islamic calendar.
This was literally the regime’s 9-11.

And tomorrow, Jews celebrate Purim, a holiday commemorating Queen Esther, of the biblical Book of Esther, saving the Jews from annihilation in ancient Persia, which is now Iran.

Until Iran was taken over by Islamic extremists, Iranian women basically had the same rights as Iranian men. They could wear what they chose, go where they wanted, marry the man they loved, and obtain a degree and any job or career they qualified for.

All that changed in 1979. Women lost the right to divorce and to child custody, the legal age for marriage was lowered from 18 to age nine, and female students were purged from all universities. A woman’s inheritance and her testimony in court were worth half that of a man’s. She was restricted from singing solo, dancing in public, attending men’s sporting events in public arenas, and the hijab was mandatory.

It's estimated real freedom will be theirs in about a month. It could be a rough one, they still need to hang tough for a while – all Iranians need to be vigilant, but the goalpost is in sight.

I gotta say, there are some seriously tough ladies in Iran. And I seriously admire them.

Never understood this especially when they say the Shah and secret police(the Savak I think) was a big reason he was overthrown. So they substituted one iron fist for another.

Some still 'say' Iranian women still have more rights than anyone in the Middle East....

Some of Iran's defenders showing up in/on media outlets.

How is mandatory attire and more restrictive rules for woman and others an improvement on the culture(not politics) under the Shah.

If they didn't have other stuff in mind in 1979 they would've just expelled US citizens and embassy staff rather than take people hostage along with seizing the embassy in a violent manner.

Thanks for proving my point. I'm done with this meaningless chit chat. You can have the last word
