On Netflix: Godzilla Minus One

Wow! A Godzilla film got so many awards! I'm impressed, but won't be seeing it anytime soon since I won't get Netflix again until three of my series return and are there at the same time. Here's the trailer.

Here's a review that favorably compares this film to Hollywood productions. Called the wake up call that Hollywood needs, this video also marvels that its budget was only $15 million.

That is the most pirated movie in cinematic history. There are other avenues to watch it besides Netflix without paying for a streaming service. I'm saving it for a rainy day, along with the Godzilla/Kong movies.

Loved the movie as well, but thought that it was a bit long, and dragged at points in the human drama intended to add emotional depth. The big guy was as we love him, however, biting down on train cars and flinging boats across the city. Long live Godzilla, and don’t worry about him at the ending…he’ll regenerate, and be back!

(I’m demanding my money back for this budget cruise!)

Just not my bag, baby. Got 3/4 through and it didn't even put me to sleep it was so annoyingly bad. I'll wait for RiffTrax to cover it and make it worth sitting through.

There is so much far better stuff to watch that people have passed right over and never seen. I guess this is what we have to expect of generic audience fare.

For example here's a show that has everything, including a lot of heart. Clip: John's Uncle introduces him to his Dad:

Yet so few have ever bothered to watch this 2008-2009 series!
