I've never been to Blackpool, but from what others have told me, it's not the sort of place I'd visit. When we moved from Hampshire, which has it's share of horrible places, we toured round the UK and a lot of the seaside resorts, especially off season, were really dire.

Perhaps the traditional British seaside holiday is a thing of the past, and now it's more luxury self catering cottages instead of Mrs. Terrible's B and B .

Most seaside towns are ok - until you go a few streets back from the prom. I think it was cheap flights and holidays abroad that killed a lot of them off.

oooh never mind B&B's... you should see the hotels in Blackpool... no perhaps you shouldn;t :ROFLMAO:
