I just received an email that my local home and auto insurance office is going OOB. Now if I have any business with the company I have to go to an office 15 miles away. I only had the previous one because they were local. There are other insurance offices nearby, but they won't take me because I have no credit history.

Like it or not deb,,go take out a credit card with low limit, $,2000,, at your bank.

Use it on a few small purchases , which you can pay off when the bill comes in

Silverfox is right. Today, a credit history is absolutely necessary. Without one, you are paying top dollar for insurance. And why aren't you using the internet to get insurance quotes, getting policies,, etc. You've got the computer shills. Your computer is a lot closer than any local office.
