I'll buy that, it sure looks a pretty thing to me, probably useless for anything more than eye candy, but then most blond beauty contestants are.

Yes, TWH..we had a discussion on that picture several months back. I mentioned that it is most likely photoshopped into the background, and the horse appears to be airbrushed. To me the tail is a give away.

Diwundrin, you are right about the eye candy and usefulness. Unfortunately, this is what some of the major breeds are about now, which results in such poor conformation that the horse is useless as anything except in hand classes, breeding more of the same and pasture ornaments. That particular horse would likely not last a year under saddle in a performance job.

Not by my standards is that the "World's Most Beautiful" horse. Show me that horse after a couple of years under saddle with a real job, and maybe he would qualify. My horses were all performance tested under saddle so they would have a useful life after the bloom of youth wore off.

This also gives them a better chance of not ending up in a red and white Alpo can, which human blond beauty contestants don't have to worry about.

That beautiful horse looks like an Akhal-Teke to me. I think all horses are beautiful no matter what the breed is.
