One of the horses just walked by ........

There are two .... miniture horses that apparently live nearby ........ one looks like a small palomino [beautiful] the other looks to my untrained eye like an appaloosa . He's the one that just walked by [on the street] For the life of me, I cannot figure out where they live ...... this is a small town/village of houses with yards ..... not ranches / acres etc.

Occassionally someone is riding in a surrey behind them ....... but mostly they just walk around ?!

I'm hoping that they are still here in the spring/summer, when I am out on the porch ......... I will try to approach them , pet them, maybe take a few photos .

Wouldn't you know I'd wake up to hoof beats on highway at night?

When I think back to the most beautiful thing I've seen in my life, it has to be my two thoroughbred horse running through the snow, when I lived in Colorado! Horses are so statuesque and noble!

When we had horses,,loved to watch them play.

The one would get her front hoof in the stock tank when it was empty & 'beat' on it, lettting me know they needed water.

Once a person was walking with them ...... then on occasion they have a surrey harnessed to them and the person is riding in the surrey ......... But other times I see only the horses.

Some years ago they had an anniversary parade in the senior community where we then lived. One group had miniature horses, a different group had Great Danes. The dogs were considerably bigger than the horses.
