Travel overland around the world. Well, not really. I did fly overseas from Canada and in the end I flew over the Pacific to get home. However, I took the Trans-Siberian all the way to Vladivostok, then train into China. Spent 2 months backpacking China and then into Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, down Thailand, Malayasia, Singapore and then spent 42 days in Indonesia before returning to Singapore and eventually flying home via Tokyo Airport. That took me 8.5 months. Every mile from Europe to my farthest point in Indonesia was via overland; mostly trains. That's 1 trip I will never repeat; too bad!
