Online subscription or daily delivery of news?

I'm curious as to others how they get their news. Do you subscribe to an online newspaper or do you have it delivered to your door? Who do you subscribe to and cost?

I ask this as I'm having two tablets delivered this Friday and since they are phone capable I can easily download or go access news sites.

I don't mind picking up a daily copy, but I don't want to subscribe only to not get full value of the subscription.

I don't subscribe to any news sites... I wouldn't pay to read the news, they get plenty money from advertisers..

Altho' most of our newspapers online are behind a Paywall I have a way around that, to read for free...

Also... I get news from the local papers online... and from the neighbourhood app...

..I never watch news on TV unless something very major has occurred

The Guardian which is a British newspaper is Ironically behind a paywall here
are you sure it's a paywall? cuz here that paywall isn't a paywall. they just ask for a donation. you can get out of it and read the article. you can sign up for a free account and log in as well. you will see that donation wall once then that's it after you log in.

they run things different there. wonder why?

I became kind of addicted to getting a morning newspaper each day, so after I left the service, I kept getting a newspaper in the morning. It’s kind of expensive, but it’s a good way to follow my teams and get local news. Down here in Pensacola, my female newspaper delivery person has my morning paper to me between 05:00 and 05:15.

I subscribe to the online version of the New York Times. I had the actual paper delivered until about 15-20 yrs ago. I do read it, but I really love the crosswords and several other games (wordle, spelling bee, mini crossword, sudoku). Other news, local etc., is all available free online.

I subscribed to NYT online, too, then canceled it, tired of reading the same news stories. I wrote letters to editor that were published. Now, just snippets from internet, TV. and local.

I do not have cable or anything. So, I get local news at 6PM on TV and national at 6:30. If there is breaking news during the day, I usually will check CNN or Yahoo online

It is decades since I last bought a newspaper. I sit in my comfy recliner and watch the TV.
One channel is national news and another is local. I also watch YouTubes.

I haven't bought a newspaper since 2002. That's when I got my first computer. I did read newspapers at work in the lunch room if someone left it behind though. Now I get my news online or on PBS, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, or MSNBC. Any other news out lets on TV, I stay away like their the plague. One in particular.

I never look at either one but mama likes to sit on the couch in the evenings after doing the supper dishes and read the paper so we get the local paper and the bigger OKC paper daily....between watching the evening local and world news on the boob tube and the late breaking headlines when I sign on this thing I get about all the news I want.

I get home delivery of NYT Mon-Fri, part of the package deal was getting it free online
I subscribe to local paper,Bflo News only get delivered on Sun
