Several times, I have actually tried reading "Terms Of Sevice". When you read the "Terms Of Service" on most things on the net, I bet you will find you have given up ownership of your own data. There is usually a line , "We have partners.". And the next line, begins, "We will never disclose blah, blah." While "WE" won't, it doesn't say anything about what those 'partners' can do. If you are getting paid for your personal info, somebody else is too. The ones footing the bill hope they will sell you something, and some may want to put you at a disadvantage with the data they have gleaned. What if you want to buy a home, but all your friends have been busted for drugs? So, do your morgage rates go up? I have to admit that I don't trust big business. Greed is so much a human trait. Giving anyone access to your personal data, without any strings attached, in my opinion, is a bad proposition, especially when the TOS offer you no protection. Bah Humbug!
