Online Surveys

My medical clinic sends me a survey after each visit which I fill out. Usually I have nothing to complain about. Surveys from anyone else, no ... especially by phone.

I seldom answer surveys or rate/review anything.

I do appreciate ratings and reviews posted by others, but I feel at my age I should be excused from some things. And sometimes the survey questions don't apply to my situation.

I ignore most. However, I will take the time rip the requestor a new ass***le if they've pissed me off and are dumb enough to invite me.
Amazon's felt the lash of my wrath a few times, as had Google Store. I'm surprised they still want to do business...:p

Seriously, it's just AIs taking care of business anymore. They don't care what you feel or think...the perfect customer service!

Note: if you ever feel like you're being lied to, don't worry about it, it's just part of the programming...AIs just keep churning out the message that they you want to hear.

I ignore most because the questions don’t really allow you to express your opinions. It’s almost like the questions no matter how you answer them make the survey cast a favorable out come for the product/service.

I have noticed that several of us here on this forum do surveys for rewards, like gift cards, and thought that we can maybe share some of the ones that we like the best and that pay a reasonable reward.
( If this is not the area for this thread, please move it to where it is appropriate, @Matrix .)

I have found that the medical ones pay the best, but you have to have the right health issues to qualify, and they usually require either a phone survey or webcam, and sometimes you have to use an actual computer and not a phone or iPad. I bought a cheap chromebook that I use for this kind of surveys, and it works fine, and the others, I do with my ipad.
Most surveys have share links, so if we can share survey sites, it will help all of us to earn more points. I think that. Lot of seniors are doing surveys now, because it gives us something we can do better than watching television, and I enjoy finding things on amazon and then saving up enough points for a gift card to buy it.

One that has a lot of surveys every day is called Branded Surveys. They send you emails, but you can just go to the website and do as many surveys as you want, and can cash out after 500 points ($5). Here is my share link for anyone who I wants to do this:

Most of the time I do not, but I will If I've had a negative experience with a product that I think might help others to avoid, like a bottle of supplements that was 4 months out of date..

I get patient surveys from my University Health Care network, because I am a long time patient at both Women's College Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital. These surveys are specific to MY experience with either one of those 2 facilities, and specific to my treatment there. The Ontario Ministry of Health sends out occasional surveys, asking if I met with a particular M.D. on a specific date, to check the billing system is not being abused . I have no problem with that sort of quality control survey, at all. I do not fill in surveys in general. JimB.

Some surveys/reviews like Taco Bell, Burger King (Entry for free food)

Amazon if the product is great.

Today I went to 7-11 to find a certain beverage, while the clerk found it another said something and as I responded she abruptly cut me off with "I don't really care"

So guess who got a glowing review and who got a bad one? The clerk that got a glowing review, was named in the review (those really are gold) and I should have gotten the mgrs number for a chat about miss snappish.

If you're talking about participating in surveys for recompense, there's a whole host of them out there. Some sites are betters than others. there's an aggregation site called 'survey police' that rates them. I usually make a couple thousand a year, when I actively work them. some will pay into paypal / bank accounts. others offer only gift cards. Mechanical Turk is a decent option, but you have to work your way 'up' to access the better paying ones...
