Oops! But It Worked, Sort Of...

Every morning, I make two cups of coffee in the old drip Mr. Coffee maker. The first cup is poured, the coffee maker is turned off, and later in the morning I reheat what's left in the pot.

This morning, when I went for the second cup, I grabbed a cup on the counter, poured the coffee into it to microwave, then realized there was left over honey vanilla chamomile tea in the cup from last night. Hmmm...mixed with coffee, about half of each.

Not bad, actually, with the additional flavor of coconut cream coffee mate added. Interesting flavor mix, lol. Not something I would have intentionally tried.

Edited to Add: And not sure I would do this again, but then again I don't want to be known as an old lady who is stuck in her ways.

Bottle it and sell it. You will make millions. ;)

Hubby has done this with Raspberry tea in his favorite cup. Grant you that cup must be as old
as he is so the inside glaze has worn over the years. That may be his problem I think.
He uses it for a midnight sip of hot tea then just rinses it out and the tea flavor is embedded
into the cup and gets into his coffee.

Given the price of coffee these days, I would have done the same!
