Open your presents yet ?

Oooh...1735136883507.png` sorry about that, Ike. Just a lump of coal? You have my sympathy.

Well, we open presents on Christmas morning, and it's Christmas morning 🌲 and we haven't done it yet. And I should mention, we had a big Solstice party here a few evenings ago, and we haven't opened presents friends left for us then. Gee, it just warms the heart when someone wants to give us something.❤️

Anyways, Merry Christmas to you, Ike.😊

No presents in our house, but a couple of $5 scratch lottery tickets were exchanged. I got a card from our cat Squeeky that had a kitten and a puppy sleeping side by side on the front, which she signed with her left front paw, as usual. Brunch at noon at Wife's daughter's house, with abut 10 family members. Pasta and salad for supper at 5pm. Nobody in the group actually likes turkey so the main course is decided by vote in November . The Grands are all over 21 now, so no presents for them. JIM.

No presents here either...

I could fib and say that surprises me 🤭 but nah... Merry Christmas, Ike and Mama! 🎄
Are you both feeling better? @IKE
We're both doing well and pretty much back to our old selves Kate....thanks for asking.

Not saying getting over Covid was a picnic but when I had the regular flu a few years ago it was much, much worse....can't recall ever felling that bad.

No presents here but do have a package that was delivered several days ago I ordered so might open that and say it was for Christmas. Husband likes to get one present for both of us, so we have a DVD with the series Magnum PI to watch over the following months.

I got a DVD of Farewell my Concubine from my husband.
My son gave me a bottle of perfume from an artisan perfumer that I had a sample of and love.
My daughter gave me a sampler of lovely herbal teas that all sound delicious. She also found a scented candle that I love but has been discontinued. I don’t know how she found it! … and she gave me a jar of luxury moisturizer. I really cleaned up this year!

My DH got me Melania's new autobiography; I enjoy autobiographies. He said it was "sold out everywhere" he went, so he had to order it.
He also gave me a set of Pendleton design towels for the new decor am doing in one of the baths, and rug mat.

I got him an expandable hose and hose rack as he is constantly washing one car or the other.
I got him a desk cup warmer (and one for me...).
I got him a cartridge trimmer.

Santa got him a car jack, and an impact wrench, Santa really surprised me on that one!
My DH jacks up the car and takes off the wheels so he can wash the inside of the hub of each wheel.
I seldom do that (well, never have I even thought to do that) but retirement bores him too!
