With an appointment reminder for tomorrow. I was surprised that are seeing patients, especially for just routine follow-ups. I was uncomfortable confirming, so I told them to cancel and I would call them to re-schedule at a more opportune time. Hope I wasn't being over-cautious.

i did the same thing Deb. I got a reminder for a routine appointment about 2 weeks ago. I couldn't believe they were actually doing that so soon! I also called and rescheduled for a month in the future.

One of my docs tried referring me to my optomologist the other day due to my eyesight worsened after having this two week bout of a GI virus.....I said no thank you, not up in my face with anyone.....instead I discovered a .50 mm pair of eyeglasses in my drawer that was a mistake in ordering 2.00 mm about three weeks ago, to be used as reading glasses.....well guess what.....I can see long distance and the tv in my house just perfect....did I get lucky or what? lol....

My eye guy cancelled my April appointment and his office said to call them in July and reschedule. They don't want to be up in your face any more than you want them to be there.
