Ordering from Amazon with EBT card

I was talking about this subject in another thread. It makes more sense to give this its own thread. Someone on the forums here told me I could use my EBT (food stamp) card to order on Amazon. That made me happy. The catch is that you need to find the products that are "EBT-eligible." I will provide a link below where you can get started. You need to enter your card info there. Generally you figure "food" is eligible. Some items are only available from Amazon Pantry. Those are not eligible. Some items offer a subscription where you can get the item automatically ordered every month or so. Subscriptions are not EBT eligible. You can choose a one-time price for the same item.

I went through this process several times. Many times my order was rejected. I clicked the link to show EBT-eligible items.. but some non-eligible items sneaked in. I finally ordered just a few items each time I tried. I thought all was well till I saw that some items were charged to my bank debit card... I didn't have sufficient funds. Here is the link:

Underneath where it says "shop across three grocery options"
"amazon fresh" is only available in some locations (not this one), but you can use either the "amazon" or "amazon pantry" option.

Tip: when you get to the page you want, click "items that are shipped and sold by Amazon." That way, you won't see ineligible items, and you won't be charged a shipping fee if you buy the minimum order ($25 for amazon, $35 for amazon pantry).

It's not nearly as complicated as it seems!! :)

JaniceM, thanks for the tip. I clicked your link, but can't find anything that says "shop across three grocery options." However, I do see 3 different categories: Amazon, Amazon Pantry & Amazon Fresh. I don't find "shipped and sold by Amazon," but I do find "seller Amazon.com."

Yes, the 3 categories is what I meant by grocery options.
When you click on one of them, look on the left-hand side of the page and you should see a box to check that says Free Shipping By Amazon.
