When you study the history of ideas and philosophy you realize truly original ideas are very uncommon. Your "original" ideas have probably been said or thought of many times in the world and in past. Same for everyone. It might be original for this forum . I figure that if I thought this then others must have too.
People should Say I think this---but this is the internet. Not school. Most thinking is variations of other thought including my comment

If original thought was prevalent these days, the profession of 'Influencer' (popular vocation among perky young women) would not exist.

I guess we all had influences. But now today with the internet, it's a mine field for young minds. Not just for those under 18 but older, especially those who are more immature as I was.

Agreed! We are allowed our own opinions, faiths, doubts, disbeliefs, on and on.

For example I'm thrilled with the rain we got in California Sunday. They are saying on the news we should get more. I have no hope for this. I'm so upset and worried about the drought. One of the reservoirs rose 20 feet. That's great but it's not enough.
