Orphan Socks

As I wade through my sock drawer I count the number of orphan socks. Poor babes! Deserted by their twin! I count six! I will have to find foster homes for them now.

I have some orphan socks too. I have another drawer with socks in it too and if it's mate isn't in there the orphan sock goes to the trash. Then of course the other orphan sock shows up...

I see these sets of socks being sold that are sets of three or five. None of the socks exactly match, but they are the same color pattern scheme. You just grab two of the three or five and put them on. They sort of match. I kind of like the concept.

No need to have orphan socks. Just do what my o/h does and only buy socks of the same colour ( in his case Black)...you never have a single unmatched sock again...

Have seen that also. It's a good solution for socks living the single life.

But I only have 2 feet....

I just throw all my socks into one big drawer. The problem is trying to match socks. There must be 50 pairs of socks in there, and not one of them is the mate of the other. This is clearly paranormal activity, most probably extraterrestrial, too.

I often laugh at the missing sock puzzle.....the little devils/ happen in all house holds ,
wonder if they get totally bored being a twin and bugger off' one of lifes mystery's''

Make a hand puppet.
Or fill it with marbles and use as a weapon, when necessary.

I have never understood why both socks have to match.
