Oscar Winners

I play a little game every year trying to pick the Academy Award winners in the 6 major categories - Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress). This year I guessed 50% - I got Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.

But did you get the correct Best Picture? :sentimental: I do not watch award shows, but would have enjoyed seeing THAT fluff up.

Well, I wanted to watch it. The hubby recorded it or so I thought. I asked him repeatedly the night it was on. Tonight, I got all comfy in my recliner with enough snacks to keep me happy. I especially wanted to see the end and the reaction of the people to what had happened. I got to the last two minutes and it went off. I guess it had run over quite a bit and didn't record. Needless to say the hubby was in the doghouse. When he has a show he wants to watch he makes sure the next hour is recorded should it run over. Next time I will record it myself!

But did you get the correct Best Picture?

Which was better than the actual ceremony when they announced the wrong pic as the Best Movie. Is everyone there on drugs? Or do they deliberately do it to get publicity?

Well, I was pretty excited that for once I HAD picked the best show winner until I found out a minute later that I HADN'T.... Bummer.
