Our Cities | Timelapse in Google Earth look at the massive increase in population in just 35 years

I have studied population geography in university in the late 60s/early 70s. At that time, I learned that population cannot go on and on indefinitely.

Disease (like Covid) and wars (like the Russian-Ukraine War) will limit some of this grown but not enough. Your guess is as good as mine in thinking of the solution. I would put my money on nuclear War. Other solutions might be massive starvation due to a lack of food. Electric cars (EV) are only a smoke screen for the real problem of too many people and not enough resources. Maybe the answers are all into wonderful smartphones? I don't know!

In the UK the number of women whose reproductive life ends without children is 18.1% See here.
In the US the ratio of childless women is even higher. See here.
Make of that, what you will. Our decision not to have children was castigated when we were younger, in old age we can trade insults with the best of them.
