Our Favorite tv commercials

I try to avoid commercials as much as possible. Ad blockers, DVR to fast forward past them, streaming services without commercials and changing the channel soon as they come on. Plus I don't fall for 99% of their claims. Marketing is just a way to separate people from their money.

I had a close encounter with that team one time. I had gone to the Ohio State Fair by myself and was walking down a narrow alley between two buildings when I heard thunder. I turned around and it was the whole Budweiser gang bearing down on me. I threw myself, face first, against the wall, then looked over my shoulder to watch them go by and see the driver laughing at me. Even while scared and the object of ridicule, I was thrilled to see so much beauty go by. They are awesome.

That’s a scary visual - I’m glad someone didn’t have to peel you off the wall😱

I have seen the Budweiser Clyde’s twice in my lifetime. You are right, they are an awesome sight❤️

Their commercial that still brings tears is the 911 tribute. Budweiser only aired it once for the Super Bowl. This is the real thing — no CGI, nothing fake. It’s a real team of horses who bowed in honor of those lost. If I remember correctly they were, however, on a site in New Jersey, viewing the ruins from there.

@Oldeagle66 to each his own🤠
I for one would rather watch the commercials than some of the stuff that gets aired overandoverandover ad naseum

Those cuter/funnier than heck Suburu dogs won’t influence me to buy a Suburu and neither will any of the funny insurance commercials influence me to change insurance companies. They are great, lighthearted entertainment 🤠🤠

This is such a tearjerker, @Imogene, and today it hits particularly hard because it was also greatly appreciated by an online friend of 16 years who suddenly passed away several weeks ago. We shared that post and commiserated over it on a different forum.

He was a physician in the NYC area and reported racing over the bridge from NJ to NYC on 9/11 to help out in the ERs that day.
